COVID-SAFETY GUIDELINES

Before attending please ensure:
– You have not been instructed to quarantine or self-isolate by Track & Trace
– You do not have any symptoms of Covid-19: Cough, Temperature, Loss of Smell (or had in the past 10 days), or have consequently tested negative
– You will inform your dance group leader if you consequently develop symptoms & test positive for Covid-19 within 5 days of attending
– We request that everybody tests negative with a free rapid lateral flow test preferably within 12hrs attending (available freely at pharmacies & many local collection points)
– We will require (by law) to check everybody has EITHER a valid NHS Covid Pass (either on nhs app, or downloaded / requested from nhs.uk website or 119) OR alternatively a text message or email confirmation of your reported negative Lateral Flow Test taken within 48hrs, gov.uk/report-covid19-result
– Please check our event updates regularly to familiarise yourself with any changing covid-safety protocols/guidelines
Covid guidance on-site:
– Wash hands / Apply hand sanitiser before & after classes / social dancing. Sanitiser stations provided at key points at venue
– Face-masks are optional. Not recommended by government for dancing
– Partner swapping is now possible, but still optional. If you’d like to come & stick with one partner please let teacher know just before class starts.
– In social dancing please respect other people’s varied decisions to mix, or not mix.
